Background and History
Project PEARLS started in August 2010 with Melissa Villa and her daughter when they were first introduced to a community of Ulingan (charcoal factory) after seeing photos of Sidney Snoeck, a Belgian photo journalist. The pictures showed children in a poor situation, and because of this, the urge to help came about. The place is dirty and really polluted, and the families living there were experiencing poverty and conditions not fit for a healthy life.
But, in 2013, the community was relocated, and the families are now living in a better place in Barangay Batia, Bocaue, Bulacan. Up to this day, they are still helping the community by commencing outreach programs and providing scholarships for the children. And now, they are able to help more communities: a Temporary Housing in Tondo, Manila (2013), children and youth in Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay (2014), and scholarships and relief programs for a community of 700 families in Erika Louise Ville, Barangay Malainen, Naic, Cavite.

Sustainability
Since our videos will be made available online through the Project PEARLS website, we ensured that they are made of quality and family-friendly for the viewers, especially high school students. We also hope that this will encourage others in the future to volunteer and help in creating learning materials for children that can not or have limited access to education.
Conclusion
Recommendation
Project PEARLS helps those without access to schools due to socio-economic constraints and other issues. By creating videos that are accessible online and teach essential mathematical concepts, we are helping provide knowledge that is out of reach for some children because of the lack of access to proper education for various reasons. These concepts are packaged into quick and easy-to-understand videos that can be easily applied in real life situations.
The crucial detail to this project is knowing the intended audience for the videos. In this case, kids, primarily elementary school and early high school students, will be the ones making use of the videos. The key for the project to be effective is having the videos easy to digest and understand. The videos are recommended to be presented with creative ways of expressing the content for the benefit of the children. CHILDREN VIVA LA VIDA!!
