TARGET COMMUNITY
In 1957, Project 6 Elementary School started with four rooms in a rented house as an annex to Bagong Pag-asa Elementary School. In 1959, PHHC donated a land of approximately 11.5k square meters which led to the establishment of a Project 6 Elementary School as a new school.
As of 2017, Project 6 Elementary School is part of the 5th School District of the Division of Quezon City Schools together with Bagong Pag-asa Elementary School, Sto. Cristo Elementary School and Mines Elementary School. There are 7 buildings and another one under construction. Their oldest building needs to be replaced because of a termite infestation. The school caters to residents of the barangay as well as nearby barangays like Culiat, Mines, Bagong Pag-asa and Tandang Sora. Its current student body is composed of children from the barangay and nearby barangays. They come from impoverished class families along with middle class families.
At present, there are (93) organized classes from kinder to grade VI with a total enrolment of 3,266 pupils.
