CONCLUSION
CONCLUSION
Our main objective focused on promoting disaster preparedness to the youth in a creative manner; hence, its fulfillment can be seen during the interactive seminar proper and post-activity group discussions. Additionally, based on our evaluation plan, we needed a minimum average rating of 4.00 across 30 respondents. The feedback returned an average rating of 4.53 from 69 respondents along with a near perfect evaluation score from Sir Gubat. As for the collaboration between our group and PHIVOLCS, they expressed willingness to work with us in future endeavors. Hence, it can be concluded that the overall project was a success.
RECOMMENDATIONS
A significant amount of time was allotted to the delivery of game instructions. It is thus recommended to make the games more intuitive, such that more time may be left for the discussion proper.
Despite the cooperative and proactive behavior of the students, they still showed a degree of shyness when interacting with the facilitators. Lessening the physical distance while talking may help ease this.
Meeting with the teachers ahead of time may help the facilitators connect with the children better, as the advisers of each class would be able to give opinions and advice on how to best engage with their students.
