Embedded Files
You organize and access your assets—video clips, audio files, still images, graphics, and sequences in the Project panel.
Each listed media asset is a link. The files themselves, the video clips and so on, remain in their original file folders.
To import files, click File > Import or double click the project panel.
This will open the Import File dialog box.
Here you will be able to navigate to and select the file(s) that you would like to bring into your project.

MOV - Video file type
JPG - Image/Photo file
MP3 - Audio file
WAV - Audio file type
After you have chosen the file(s), click Import.

Importing and logically arranging your assets in the Project panel is straightforward and a good habit to get into:
Add a few bins (folders) and then import or drag and drop your assets into them to keep things organized.
