You must produce TWO photos that demonstrates a levitation trick.
Props (stool) and/or digital manipulation is a must for this assignment.
If you need more support, don’t shy away from using multiple stools or chairs.
Interacting with objects around the environment like walls, trees, or other floating objects will make the photo more interesting.
Most importantly, make sure you take proper precautions and don’t try anything dangerous. Remember, it’s just an illusion, NOT actual levitation (ie, jumping)
Things to consider will be shadows. (the stool might cast a shadows that needs removing or fake shadows might need to be added to further “sell” the shot.
Stools and chairs can be found in the black room.
YOU MUST TAKE THE PHOTO AT OR BELOW EYE LEVEL OF YOUR SUBJECT.
HOW IT WAS DONE:
Two photos were taken with a camera on a tripod.
Photo #01 – was to get the background (to be used when you remove the stool)
Photo #02 – subject on his back lying on a stool.
To avoid “flat back”, his shirt dangled down in front of the stool to make it look more realistic.
The stool was masked out photoshop.
