Portfolio Requirements
Portfolio: An artist's portfolio is an edited collection of their best artwork intended to showcase an artist's style or method of work.

Students must generate and design a digital portfolio that will be used throughout the semester to post assignments and artist statements/reflections.
Students may ONLY submit their own compositions.
NEW THIS YEAR - Reflections will make up part of each assignment mark and are not part of the RST as in previous years.
You will create a variety of ‘pages’ that will help to organize your work.
Your website's navigation (menu items across the top) should include:
About Me (your main HOME page)
Assignment / Projects Pages
RST
Sketchbook (optional)
1) ABOUT ME PAGE (Artist Profile)
Include information about yourself, such as:
Interest/expertise in graphic design, animation, video, etc (explain what you know already and what media art you prefer to create and examine)
Your goals for this course
Something interesting or unusual about yourself
Anything else you deem suitable
Include a photo of yourself or some of your work to add interest for the viewer
2) ASSIGNMENT PAGES
Each assignment page MUST have these 4 things.
Title of the Assignment
Brief description of the assignment (What was the project about / What did you have to do? - usually found on the teacher project page)
Your finished edited photos, animations, or videos.
A brief reflection on your work (either write about the project in general, specifically about your work, or a combination of both) Use the questions below to guide you in your reflections (you do not need to answer every one each time)
Did you like this assignment? Yes/No, Why or Why Not?
Are you satisfied with your finished work? Why or Why Not?
What aspects are you most proud of?
What areas need improvement?
If you had the opportunity to redo this project, what changes would you make?
3) SKETCHBOOK
Your sketchbook is a place to store interesting projects that you want to showcase but aren't for any particular assignment.
