Studying abroad in Florence opens up a world of opportunities for students. Joining or starting a student-led club is an excellent way to connect with fellow students and engage with the vibrant Florence community. Whether you become a club member or take on a leadership role, participating in extracurricular activities will enrich your school experience! Through involvement in student organizations, you’ll build valuable skills, expand your network, and deepen your understanding of local culture—all while creating lasting bonds with like-minded peers.
Are you interested in starting a new club or joining an existing one? Complete the Fall 2025 Student Club Proposal form (via Google Form) to get started. Once submitted, a member of the Student Life team will reach out to you. You can also contact the leaders of the clubs listed below to obtain more information about upcoming club events (This information will be updated once the semester starts and clubs are created).
Please note that the Interest-Based clubs listed below were created by students during the Spring 2025 semester. During the Fall 2025 semester, clubs might be reactivated if there are students interested in taking them forward. New clubs can be created every semester. Endorsed by the American Psychological Association (APA), our club follows in the footsteps of Freud’s Wednesday Psychological Society, fostering intellectual discourse over dinner while shaping the future of psychology. We bridge the past, present, and future by reflecting on the contributions of 100 influential psychologists and critically examining how their legacies intersect with modern advancements.
In today’s rapidly evolving world, psychology is increasingly intertwined with frontier technologies such as artificial intelligence, neuroscience, and digital mental health solutions. Our discussions explore how these innovations are reshaping psychological practice, research, and ethical considerations. As we navigate our career trajectories—whether through summer internships, graduate programs, or industry roles—we aim to position ourselves at the forefront of this transformation.
