News & Updates
Announcing Diario Fiorentino: an end-of-year digital student showcase capturing highlights and insights from your days in Florence! The student showcase will be a mixed-media online space to feature your creative, intellectual, and reflective pieces. Seeking applicants to be part of the Core Committee to oversee and advise on this project. For more information or to express your interest, click here.
What is it?
It's an extracurricular, but academic project based on Italian
language and Italian music.
Okay, but what is it about in detail?
Basically, it’s about putting together a band (there's already a rhythm section from the Italian Department ready to go) and expanding it to prepare a small repertoire of Italian songs to perform at the Farewell Party or other occasions.
How does it work?
You express your interest, and in a couple of weeks, we'll have an initial
meeting to get organized. Then rehearsals will begin every week or every two weeks.

Please note that walking on Via dei Bruni is extremely dangerous, given that there is no sidewalk and very little lighting on that street. Please use the Villa Natalia gate (Via Bolognese 106) to enter and exit the property on foot. You may also use the Villa La Pietra gate (Via Bolognese 120) if you need to go to Villa Sassetti or Villa La Pietra, but be careful – the sidewalk is narrow.
