Studying abroad in Florence opens up a world of opportunities for students. Joining or starting a student-led club is an excellent way to connect with fellow students and engage with the vibrant Florence community. Whether you become a club member or take on a leadership role, participating in extracurricular activities will enrich your school experience! Through involvement in student organizations, you’ll build valuable skills, expand your network, and deepen your understanding of local culture—all while creating lasting bonds with like-minded peers.

Are you interested in starting a new club or joining an existing one? Complete the Spring 2026 Student Club Interest Form (via Google Form) to get started. Once submitted, a member of the Student Life team will reach out to you. You can also contact the leaders of the clubs listed below to obtain more information about upcoming club events.

Student Clubs are free to use some campus spaces, like classrooms and the sports field. For booking these spaces, please get in contact with the OSL staff.

Black Student Union

The NYU Black Student Union is a welcoming community for Black students and allies to connect, celebrate culture, and support one another. At NYU Florence, BSU hosts conversations and events that build friendship, empowerment, and unity abroad.

Let’s explore fashion within NYU Florence’s diverse community! We will target education on fashion sourcing and history, up-cycling and accessorising, and celebrating personal style with clothing swaps and slow fashion promotion.
