Professional Development Opportunities

NYU Florence offers students a limited number of Professional Development Opportunities each semester. The Deadline to apply is Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 9:00 pm (Central European Time).  

Through the PDO Program at NYU Florence students can gain valuable international experience by working on projects under the mentorship of NYU Florence staff in the various campus offices - the Digital Studio, Villa La Pietra, the Office of Student Life and the Office of Academic Support, as well as a transversal project that focuses on sustainability.  All PDO students will work collaboratively to organize an end of semester conference where they will present their work.

Eligibility

All students enrolled at NYU Florence who are interested in an on-campus PDO are encouraged to apply.

Please note that there are a limited number of scholarships called Global Learning Awards available for financially eligible NYU Students who have been selected for a PDO.  Visit the Global Learning Award page for more information.

How to Apply

The DEADLINE for PDO applications is Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 9:00 pm  CET.

We will not accept late applications.

Candidates will be contacted with interview information by January 23, 2025.

Please note that site supervisors reserve the right to conduct a preliminary screening of applicants based on resumes prior to assigning interview times.
