Week ending Friday 15th December, 2023

Dear Families,

Can you believe it has already been a whole term? The children have really settled into the routine, created new friendships and are becoming really fantastic learners. This week, the children have been learning about Hanukkah. We learned the Hanukkah is the Festival of Lights for Jewish people and that it lasts 8 days. We celebrated Hanukkah by wrapping gifts and making our own playdough menorahs. We even made our own Star of David inspired biscuits! It has also been a super festive week in Reception! The children enjoyed a visit from the travelling panto "The Smallest Elf", enjoyed a yummy Christmas lunch and had a wonderful Christmas performance! Thank you to all the parents who came along. We are so proud of them! A reminder that next week is a short week as we break up for our Christmas half term on Wednesday 20th December at 2pm!
