Week ending Friday 24th November, 2023
Dear Families,
Thank you for all those who joined us for our Reading Family Friday. We have had another super week at school. The children have really enjoyed their new topic "Toys". It was so exciting to see all the children's favourite toys and sharing them with the class. We drew and labelled our favourite toys, designed our own toys and created split pin toys! We even built some using different construction tools. We look forward to making our very own stuffed, cuddly toy next week! In maths, we have been exploring the number 8. We encourage as much counting and number recognition as you can at home! As we come into the festive period, please look out for some key dates such as our Winter performance, Christmas Jumper Day and many more. We will let you know asap! The weather is getting colder so we ask that all the children have appropriate winter wear for outdoor learning!Â
A polite reminder that children should be wearing school uniform including black shoes/trainers.Â
Thank you for all your continuous support. Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Remember to return your book bags on Monday!Â
Best wishes from the Reception Team

Noticeboard
Hats, Scarves & Gloves.
As the weather is set to get colder, please bring a hat, scarf or gloves to school to keep warm during lunch and play time! Remember to label them with your child's name to avoid any losses!
Spare Clothes
Please ensure your child has a spare change of clothes available on their peg every day. This is in case of any accidents or wet/messy play. As the weather is getting wetter, it is essential! We have very limited spare clothes available at school.
Reading Books
Please ensure that your child brings their book bag with BOTH books to school every Monday so that we can exchange their phonics and reading for pleasure book for a new one!
