Implementation strategies:
Teacher distributes the worksheet to each pupil and explains the activity.
Teacher explains to the pupils that they are going to play a game where one person will be the "parent" and the other will be the "child". The "parent" will give chore-related instructions (e.g., “Please make the bed” or “Take the trash out”), and the "child" must act it out.
Teacher gives pupils a few examples of how to give polite instructions. Write some sentence starters on the board, such as: “Can you please…”, “Please help me with…”, “Let’s…”
Teacher lets pupils take turns playing both roles, using the Chore Cards as a guide. Encourage them to speak in English while giving instructions and responding.

In 15 minutes, pupils find friends and ask them "what is your favourite sport?” and the friends answer “my favourite sport is ___”.
Pupils write down their friends’ names in the worksheet.
Enrichment activity: Teacher asks pupils to recall what their friends’ favourite sport is without looking at the worksheet.
