Horticulture and Outdoor Learning

In Module 3 Saxon, Viking, Renaissance and Jurassic will be resuming horticulture sessions.   Our theme is 'Creating Habitats'.  Renaissance & Jurassic have looked at the different features needed in a garden to encourage wildlife.  They have made bird feeders and will support with composting and other ongoing garden tasks.   Renaissance are undertaking the 'mini' project of creating an insect hotel from a doll's house that was being thrown away.  Viking are supporting in the refurbishment of the main garden.  They have measured the raised beds in preparation for replacing the rotten sleepers and will support putting the new sleepers on.  They have also tidied the pond area.
