1. IEP > IEP List > (choose IEP) > IEP Section > LEAP Connect

Process

1. This section must be manually added using the Edit Section(s) link. 

   • Before adding this subsection, a LEAP Connect option must first be chosen in IEP Section > Program Services > State Education Assessments.

Student Exceptionalities

1. This table contains the following columns:

   • Exceptionality

   • Primary Exceptionality

   • Exceptionality Deta

2. The table is automatically populated from the associated Evaluation.

Alternate Assessment Results

1. This table contains the following columns:

   • Assessment Type

   • Assessment Completed

   • Assessment Name

   • Date Administered

   • Standard Deviation

   • Respondent

2. The table is also automatically populated from the associated Evaluation.

Alternate Assessment Participation Criteria

1. These three criteria must be checked as "Agree" for a student to qualify for LEAP Connect. 

   • For the first criteria, also click either a, b, or c.

Domain Classifications

1. This subsection will only be available according to the bubbles clicked in the Alternate Assessment Participation Criteria subsection.

   • 1. There are eight options here with varied dropdown selections. Click through each one to view details.

Eligibility Determination

1. This section must include one selection, and be signed and dated by four people.

Click Save to commit the data.

Members

1. To add more members, click the "+" button at the bottom of this section.

2. The LEAP Connect Member Maintenance popup will appear with the following options:

   • Adapted P.E. Teacher

   • Advocate

   • Assistant Principal

   • Audiologist

   • Board Certified Behavior Analyst

   • Certified School Psychologist

   • Educational Consultant

   • Educational Diagnostician

   • IEP Facilitator

   • Licensed Behavior Analyst

   • Neurologist

   • Occupational Therapist ODR

   • Optometrist/Opthalmologist

   • Orthopedist

   • Other Medical Specialist

   • Parent

   • Pediatrician

   • Physical Therapist

   • Principal

   • Psychiatrist

   • Qualified School Social Worker

   • Regular Education Teacher

   • School Counselor

   • School Nurse

   • SPED Coordinator

   • Special Education Teacher

   • Speech/Language Pathologist

   • Student

   • Teacher (Current)

   • Other

3. After choosing an option from the dropdown, enter the Member Name in the text field.

4. Click Save to commit the data and return to the LEAP Connect section. The new information will show in the Members table.
