EnEvo is a 100% locally owned private company, set up in 2016, with the aim to provide solutions to the country’s environmental sustainability challenges. They utilise recycled materials to produce toilet paper. Their packs of toilet rolls can be found in many supermarkets around Brunei.
We are thrilled to announce that JIS has been named one of the top five schools on EnEvo’s list of recycling contributors for both 2021 and 2022!
Thanks to our dedicated community, we have provided a total of 2020kg of paper to EnEvo, which has been recycled into the toilet rolls used on our very own campus.
Standing by the saying 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle', we take pride that our recycled paper, collected by students and staff all across our campus, is turned into toilet paper that we use. We are proud to say that this is a large-scale example of a circular economy that JIS has been able to demonstrate.
We will continue to work closely with EnEvo to make Brunei, and the world, an even more environmentally friendly place in the future.
