The Sandpiper girls gathered after school during Earth Week to join the Tree Vitalize campaign.
Here, the girls helped maintained the growth of a plant in the ODC by providing it with sufficient water, compost and fertiliser.

The Sandpiper gathered once more after school at the ODC to join the Tree Vitalize Campaign.
Here, the girls planted a new seedling at an empty patch of land. The seedling was provided with enough water, compost and mulch.
ODC CCA
Held on Mondays and Wednesdays , the ODC CCA provides a perfect getaway from the stress of school by reconnecting with the beauty of nature! Not only that, various activities in the ODC help maintain the biodiversity in the area for future cohorts in JIS.
CCA members of the Monday ODC CCA during Term 3 2024 were entrusted to keep track of the growth of a plant in the ODC, while also weeding, watering and giving compost as needed. This simple activity is one of many that is student-led which contributes to the goal of being a Green and Sustainable school.
Also, notice how being one with nature makes the Sandpiper eco rep (left-most!!) and her friends feel happy! Shows how this CCA brings such a great opportunity to create delightful bonds and memories with others.
