From last year's success of tanghulu, we as a team decided to bring it back for one last time.Â
Our eco frendly idea was to prepare on the spot, using local fruits and an electric stove powered by the school's newly installed solar panels.Â
We had multiple volunteers helping out with the sale. Roles consisting of taking orders, cutting fruits and sugar coating.
As part of Peace Week, the Sweron Eco reps also led an ODC planting activity by growing local seeds in reused plastic bottles.
The Herons and Swifts helped out with ODC tree planting during Wellbeing week.
For International Day, Sweron sold rosella chocolate chip cookie ice-cream sandwiches.
We used handmade ice-cream and freshly grown rosella from the ODC to add flavour to the cookies
We remade our three ingredient handmade ice-cream and sold them with coke and pepsi drinks in cups.
The empty aluminium cans would then go towards recycling from our house.

Reef balls are dome-shaped artificial structures made of special concrete that mimic natural reefs. They provide shelter for marine life, support coral growth, reduce coastal erosion, and offer protection for small fish. By creating new habitats, reef balls help restore damaged ecosystems and promote marine biodiversity.Â
