We baked and sold authentic vegan brownies for Earth Week. This was a joint project with Swift. The Sweron council worked hard selling the brownies during the lunchtime sale.
Our sustainable approach in this was to use banana leaves as plates for the brownies !

On International Week, we sold potted plants using students' old glass jars. These plants were sourced from the ODC itself which means our customers can bring home a piece of our rain forest.

During Earth Week, some lovely Heron girls participated in the tree planting event held after school.
We carefully picked a spot and planted our chosen plant. Hopefully this plant grows up beautifully to be a proof of our mark left behind.

During Earth Week, the Sweron Eco Committee had a fun idea of making Tanghulu (fruit covered in sugar) and jelly balls with fruits inside. We are planning a baking activity after school for our junior members and the Sweron Council to help make these treats that we aim to sell during the Earth Week picnic.
