During the Earth Week celebrations in Term 3, we sold honey peach tea for our Eco-Business. The drink was a much needed refreshing punch during the heated celebrations and instantly became a fan favourite among the crowd. Thank you to the Eco Team for your hard work and dedication. ππΉπ§‘
In the beginning of Term 1, the Hawksprey eco team worked together to extract honey from the hives down at the ODC! It was very fun and enriching. We will be using this honey for our future treats and goodies.Β It was a hot day, but the Hawksprey team always shows up for one another. βπ―π
For this event, the Y12 Osprey Eco Committee took the lead on running the Green Business instead of relying on our Eco Captains! It was a great chance to experience the workload and challenges of setting up the Eco Business firsthand. But most importantly, we had a blast selling the honeylicious goodies and learning along the way!Β π―π€π«
The lovely Osprey girls displayed their green thumb in the tree planting session. They worked hard to plant a Rambutan tree.Β Hopefully, Osprey house will soon be able to enjoy the fruits of their labour! Big round of applause to the girls who showed up, you are all an inspiration for everyone. π³πβοΈ
