Local Committees

From middle of August 2017, it's possible to also give access to your local committees to help you administrate your offers and nominations. If you are interested in using this functionality, you can contact ITS (its@iaeste.org) to help you set up your LCs.

How does it work?

Domestic offers

You can create LCs to help you with administrate your domestic offers, but the LCs don't have the possibility to share the offers. You still have to approve the offers and share them with other countries.
You can assign employers to your LCs when verifying them so the LCs can administrate all the offers created by the employer.
If you have already started creating a domestic offer as Exchange administrator or NS, you can assign an LC to the offer. The assigned LC will be able to handle incoming nominations and accept/reject the students. It does not get to the sending country without your approval.
When a foreign country submits a nomination for your offer, the assigned LC is informed and can see the nomination. Tip: It's good to warn the LCs that for COBE offer, they have to wait till the deadline for all nominations before they start ranking and evaluating the students.
When LC accepts/rejects a student, it works in a similar way as if Employer accepts/rejects student. The NC is informed and you still have to approve the rejection reason or create the acceptance documents.
The LC can also handle Employer reports for the offers assigned to them.

Foreign offers

When a foreign AC offer is shared with your country, you have to assign the offer to an LC/LCs. When a foreign COBE/FCFS offer is shared with your country, it's visible to all LCs, but only one student from your country can be nominated.
After one student is assigned, it's disabled for the rest of the LCs to assign any other student. Only the NC can change the assigned student.
LC can assign only students, which are assigned to them. Self-registered students can choose the LC on their own or the LC/NC can register any new students under their committee. (LC can only register students under their committee.)
After LC assigns a student, they can ask the student to complete the nomination in the EP or they can do it for them.
After the nomination is completed by the LC, the nomination still has to be confirmed by the NC before it's submitted to the receiving country.
The LC will be able to see acceptances as well as rejections for their students.
The LC can also handle the Trainee's reports of their students.

Please note that the LC only receives limited notifications and they are sent to the email address provided in the LC profile NOT to all the LC users.
