Throughout this module we have been focusing on dance and rhythm. To help us gain more of an understanding of the different types of dance, we have been creating a missing impossible style dance as if we are spies!
This module is all about developing our skills linked to sending and returning a ball. To help us with this skill we will be using tennis rackets and balls to help us learn how to develop balance, posture, throwing skills and hitting a ball back. Our first two lessons focused on developing balance and throwing a ball to our partner correctly.
Throughout module 4 we have been working on control, mainly when using our feet. We have been doing this through a range of games and activities in our PE lessons which has allowed us to develop our stamina, coordination and control when kicking a ball.
Due to sports day being around the corner, Year 2 took advantage and started practising their sports day activities during PE lessons. This helped up when completing sports day at the end of June.
Both Adder and Lizard Class have taken part in swimming during these modules, which they have enjoyed very much!
