This module we learnt about houses around the world and why they were built differently. We researched how weather, location and use impacted on houses and homes. We then thought about and designed houses that we thought would be kinder to the environment than most traditional homes.
We also learnt about addresses and why they are so useful.

In this module, we looked at the city of Inverness and comparing to our village of Hoo. To do this, we used maps and labelled our own, studied satellite images and pictures to compare the physical features and looked at the day to day lives of inhabitants of both places.
