This module we have been learning about how the ways we communicate have changed and developed. We then compared the methods and thought about their pros and cons.  The invention of the telephone and the internet had a huge impact on communication so we learnt about their inventors.  We also had lots of fun reading and creating Morse code.

N.C.  Pupils should be taught about:  changes within living memory. Where appropriate, these should be used to reveal aspects of change in national life  events beyond living memory that are significant nationally or globally and about the lives of significant individuals in the past who have contributed to national and international achievements. Some should be used to compare aspects of life in different periods (for example Tim Berners-Lee)
