We began the module looking at fractions. We learnt how to recognise and find halves and quarters of shapes and amounts.

We finished the modulelearning about position and direction. We had great fun following directions on the playground. We also learnt about ordinal numbers (1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th)

This module we have been very busy and covered lots of topics. Our learning began with recognising and using numbers up to 100.

We then moved on to money. We learnt how to recognise different notes and coins and begun counting and comparing their values.
N.C sequence events in chronological order using language [for example, before and after, next, first, today, yesterday, tomorrow, morning, afternoon and evening] recognise and use language relating to dates, including days of the week, weeks, months and years tell the time to the hour and half past the hour and draw the hands on a clock face to show these times.
We are ending the module learning about time. We have using songs to help us remember the days of the weeks and months of the year. We used this knowledge to solve problems. We also learnt how to tell time to an hour and half hour intervals.
