Bending Tools

Different tools are available for bending sheet metal. For folding sheet parts a 'brake' is used. This machine clamps the sheet materials between a set of jaw before a pivoting plate is lifted up causing the sheet to fold in a set place and to a set angle.

A Box folder is similar but parts of the clamping jaw can be removed allowing more flexibility in the parts of the sheet which are folded. Corners can be formed which means that simple boxes and trays can be folded, hence the name.
