Hacksaw

The hacksaw is used for general cutting of metal bar, tubes, etc. The blade is easily removed by slackening or tightening of the front wing nut.

Junior Hacksaw

This type of saw is also used for cutting metal but is used for light work or where a hacksaw is too clumsy.

Power Hacksaw

This type of saw is driven by motor and makes the job cutting larger pieces of metal much easier.

Powered Saws

There are other powered saws which can cut metal. These are similar to saws that can be used on wood. Metal saws will often run at a slower speed, have special blades and lubrication/coolant to ensure a good cut.
