Residential Education & Housing supports the curricular experience by engaging students in intentional developmental opportunities outside of the classroom and by cultivating leadership. Hey! I’m Itzell, I’m an accounting major, and this will be my junior year at Guilford.
I’m excited to be serving as an Assistant Community Director this year! This year will be my second year as a part of the ResEd Staff, I’m also involved on campus as the Treasurer for the Student Body and the Program Coordinator for Hispanos Unidos de Guilford (HUG). I love getting to connect with people and help build an inclusive and supportive community, so feel free to say hi if you see me around!

I’m a Sports Management major who’s been a Resident Assistant for two years, with a strong focus on building community and creating a positive environment on campus. I’ve also been a dual-sport athlete for three years, which has taught me a lot about leadership and balancing responsibilities. On top of that, I work in the sports department, gaining hands-on experience in event operations and athletic support. Staying active and involved has been a big part of who I am and how I give back to the campus community.

Hi, I’m Mohammad (Mo), a Computer Technology Information Systems and Cyber & Network Security major with a minor in Criminal Justice. I will serve as an Assistant Community Director (ACD) for Bryan And Milner Hall, where I help create a safe, supportive, and thriving residential community.
In addition to my role in Residence Life, I’m involved in IT, the Honors Program, and student leadership. Whether you need help finding campus resources, want to talk tech, my bad fashion sense, or just have questions about college life—I’m always happy to connect! 😁

A skilled, energetic, and dedicated team of 30+ Resident Advisors (who also happen to be students) live and work in the residence halls, providing oversight and support to designated areas of the campus. They are "front-line" resources for students in need of assistance. Find them on your hall or they can be reached through their supervising Community Directors listed above.
