Our Staff

The mission of the Department of Residential Education & Housing is to create a safe, supportive, and engaged living-learning community that enhances students’ personal and academic success, and supports the College’s core values in both word and practice.  Residential Education & Housing supports the curricular experience by engaging students in intentional developmental opportunities outside of the classroom and by cultivating leadership.  Our staff is committed to serving as allies, advocates, and resources to students of all backgrounds and to foster an environment of social support, personal autonomy, and community accountability.

Assistant Community directors

These staff members (who are also students in their junior or senior year) live and work in the residence halls alongside the professional staff.  They have experience in Residential Education & Housing and have proven themselves to be extraordinary leaders.  They can be reached through their supervising Community Directors listed above.
