We wrote and acted out scenes from "Will Wilder". Our focus was to use techniques to create dramatic tension in a scene that could be part of the book.

We are really excited that we have an additional 5 chrome books in our class! Having more technology available will really help with projects like this.
We are beginning to solve more complex equations like the one you see here. We're learning the importance of organizing our steps, constantly reminding ourselves that an equation means both sides of the equal sign must always have the same value.

This morning we noticed that we have a few seeds sprouting in the soil! You can see a tiny stem about 2 cms tall in this ecosystem.

We spent some time today writing thank you notes to the staff at Ruffins Pet Store. They were so helpful and generous in helping us get the right supplies for our ecosystems. Here is an image of Abbie's thank you note.
I am so proud of the teamwork that went into creating our amazing door decoration! Everyone had a hand in producing a part of the door, from cutting out Smarties, candy canes and icing and designing the gingerbread people, to helping engineer the gingerbread frame. Teamwork is what makes our class ROCK!
