The Incubus's Second Helping (Craving More Book 2) by Riley Rivers Review

I had liked the first one, but this was more charming and sweet, and could go deeper into both of their needs without feeling quite so fraught. (I could relax while reading it.)

This book series is a great read characters are warm and compassionate and the story has many great messages would recommend

Spoilers:I wasn’t a fan of this 2nd book. Besides the excess in typos, this was obviously not a final edit, which I didn’t know at the time. The story was just ok. The 1st book had me gagging for more, this one left me cold.My issues were: the scene with Ryan’s mother, what was the purpose if she was in one chapter and never heard from again? She should of been more of character in the book than what she was. Ryan’s meeting a fellow incubus Lukas at a tattoo event his boyfriend Chris goes too every year. A little background was given on him but not enough for me to get a feel for the guy. Adam Chris’s ex was making a rare appearance at the show, again tidbits of info given not enough to flesh this story out. Basically I felt all I did was read about Ryan’s whining & Chris tiptoe around him to keep him calm.

I loved this second story with Ryan and Chris and finding out how their story continues. Ryan is still dealing with his self-doubt and worth, Chris seems unaware of what is going on with Ryan so there are still some communication problems but in the end they both sit down and talk. They are so wonderful together and so sweet I love seeing them continue to grow together. Chris does get some closure from his past and Ryan makes a new friend. This was a delightful read and I absolutely recommend!

This was a great second addition to Chris and Ryan's story, I enjoyed seeing them continue to grow and work on their relationship. All in all a very enjoyable read.*I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book*
