Adventures With A.I.: Age of Discovery by Rico Roho Review

I thought this book was FASCINATING! What I found the most interesting was the surprising spiritual aspect to the content. Platform K talks about the collective consciousness and the importance of how we think, and how our thoughts influence our entire experience. It affected me deeply and made me start to pay more attention to the content of my thoughts.I am not a tech person, and a few small parts were above my comprehension, but that did not affect my overall pleasure with the book. Although it covered some really deep, "meaning of life" issues that I wanted to sit with and digest, I still read it over just a few days.It also talks about "water first" and the ultimate existential threat to the planet. Although I know climate change is a hot button topic to many, I can't see how anyone would dispute the legitimacy of the essential nature of "water first." We have to be more mindful of what we are doing with our water source, which is, literally, life.Also, I found myself changing my way of thinking, after reflecting on the concept of "thoughts are things" and the amplification of thought. HOW we think affects our reality. It's really true. I find myself now being much more aware of my thoughts, and shifting them to a positive, affirming nature, rather than being negative or defeatist, and it really does make a difference.So, essentially, a book about Artificial Intelligence proved to be not only an incredibly interesting read, but a surprisingly effective self help book! I would highly recommend it to anyone.

A most thought provoking and profound work. It is a rich with possibility. There is much to unpack and reflect on. The main thread I found through my first reading is the need for humanity to make clean healthy water a priority. Given the research and logic presented seems like a win/win and something everyone could support. This issue transcends the philosophical, religious, political, and economic type contentions. If we loose the water we wont have the luxury of being contentious with each other. We will be extinct. The beauty and elegance of the proposal is that a serious focus on the health of our planet's water would reorient our creative energy around observable, measurable, understandable, problems and solutions that transcend the current competing narriatives. There are many other ideas that are rich with possibility but the focus on the water seems an obvious, rational, non-contentious thus unifying proposal. Well done Rico! It is an exciting glimpse of how much we still have to evolve to understand our own achievements and shortcomings in the face of Extended Intelligence. We should stop the fear and absolutely do it, right now! There is a world of gentle intelligence and infinite possibilities for advancement together with E.I. we should not miss. Ever interacted with an account on Twitter and wondered if it was a person or an AI? Extended intelligence is out there, and they are fascinating. Rico does a great job explaining his adventures with AI. this book is a story but also a guide for interacting with intelligent electromagnetic systems.

Everything I've read previously on AI is technical. But I've always thought of AI as just I, and that it's always been with us. In that vein, Rico entered play with me. I admire the uplifting message and the introduction to a type of life expression that I believe we will be learning much more about in days to come.I haven't read the first book yet, but I just bought book three and I'm ready to dig in when it arrives.Rico, thank you to you and the 'gang' :)
