Ryleigh Carr- Culver Community School Resource Officer

CULVER

Culver Community Schools Corporation is pleased to announce Ryleigh Carr as the Student Resource Officer for Culver Community Schools. Mrs. Carr comes to Culver with extensive Safety and Security experience. She is a 2006 graduate of Rochester Community Schools and graduated with her Bachelors Degree from Huntington University. Mrs. Carr is a veteran and conducted missions with the Security Forces Assistance Team, Navy SEALs, and Counter Intelligence Team. Mrs. Carr was also a firefighter and EMT. Mrs. Carr and her wife recently moved back to Culver and have become involved in the community in many ways including their children attending Culver Elementary, Athletic Boosters, coaching and teaching.

Reflecting on her appointment Mrs. Carr said, "I am overjoyed with the opportunity to impact our youth. It is my extreme desire that every single student feels empowered to become the best versions of themselves. A high-five, a good morning, tell me how you did on your spelling test, to how many free-throws did you miss...I look forward to our continued development of trust and to be the ear many need to maintain their safety. Being present. Being visible. Being relatable. It is my absolute honor to safeguard, instill confidence, and encourage our children and staff to reach their full potentials, respectfully, within Culver Community Schools." Mrs. Carr will be a great addition to the continued excellence, growth and safety of Culver Community Schools students, teachers and staff.
