CCSC Board Approves Hiring of Two New Teachers

CCSC BOARD APPROVES HIRING OF TWO NEW TEACHERS

CULVER- Culver Community School Board approved the hiring of two new teachers last night at the regularly scheduled board meeting for the 2023-2024 school year. Chelsea Dowd comes to Culver from Warsaw Community Schools where she taught math. Chelsea will be teaching High School Math at Culver Middle/High School. Madeline Hewlett is a recent graduate of Valparaiso University and will begin her teaching career with CCSC teaching 5th Grade.

Other hirings of the night included Ashley Perkins as a custodian for CES and Matt Carter as a Track Assistant Coach. The board also approved action items included bids for painting and light removal to happen during the current renovations, Indiana Online courses for students, scholarship fund transfers and to appointment of Chris Gamal to the Union Township Library Board.

Culver Community Schools Corporation holds their regularly scheduled board meetings the first and third Monday of each month at 7p at the Administration Building located at 700 School Street.
