Culver- The Culver Cavalier Math Team competed in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference Math Competition on Tuesday and had the best finish in school history. The Cavaliers came in fourth place only missing a top 3 finish by mere points.
Landon Stevens, Abi Caudill, Megan Englad Gwen Gilley and Alecks Stacy all won their division as the Algebra 2 Team. This win was the first in school history.
Individuals that placed were: Shane Shuman who place 10th in PreCalculus, Katie Schouten who placed 8th in Geometry, Laynie Haws who placed 7th in Geometry, Megan England who placed 6th in Algebra 2, Adrian Schouten who placed 5th in Calculus, Abigail Caudill who placed 3rd in Algebra 2, Ryane Buschman who placed 3rd in Algebra 1 and Landon Stevens who was the runner-up in Algebra 2.
The team set several school bests including: Most place winners with 8; Highest Team Finish with 4th and Highest Subject Finish with 1st.
