CULVER- Jack Standfast has won Honorable Mention in the Bill of Rights Contest through the Judicial Learning Center. This contest was open to any student in grades 5-12 in the Seventh and Eighth Circuits- Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
The Bill of Rights Contest asked students to imagine talking to a friend from another country who has never heard of the Bill of Rights. The student then was asked to craft an essay, creative writing submission, video, multimedia presentation or artwork that answered specific questions set forth by the Learning Center.
For winning Honorable Mention, Jack was awarded a $50 Amazon Gift Card and was invited to participate in the interactive event for Bill of Rights Day put on by the US Courts of the Seventh and Eighth Circuits.
Congratulations on this accomplishment, Jack!
