CES Teacher Receives Grant

Culver Elementary Second Grade Teacher, Courtney Good was recently awarded a grant totaling $230.91 to purchase a set of headphones for the 2nd grade class. Headphones are on the back to list for these classes to be used while testing, but some families cannot afford them. This grant money will be used so each child, regardless of their family's financial situation will be able to have a set of headphones specifically made for children. 

The Cheryl Lyn Welter foundation honors the life of Cheryl Welter who passed away her senior year of high school in 2001. Chery was an avid people person who loved helping others. The foundation was put in place to help students in grades K-12 have opportunities to achieve goals they may not otherwise have the resources to achieve.
