Culver Community Middle/High School Students Compete in the Fall Bonanza 2020
October 2, 2020Homecoming week is a fun time for students at Culver Community Middle/High School. Each day throughout the week students dressed according to that day's theme. Pajama Day, Twin Day, 90s Day, Neon Day and finishing the week in all out Orange and Black. Homecoming week always ends with the Fall Bonanza. The middle and high school classes compete against each other for the coveted title of Fall Bonanza Champions and a chance to hold onto the "Golden Plunger" for the year.
Contests included, Field Goal Kicking, Egg Toss, Dizzy Izzy, Water balloon Toss, Watermelon Eating Contest and others. The National Guard also brought in a large rock wall for students to attempt rock climbing. A homecoming parade went through town that afternoon showcasing the football team and homecoming court. This helped get students excited for the Homecoming Football Game that night where The Culver Cavaliers took home a win against The Caston Comets 36-12.
The Fall Bonanza Champions were the Juniors this year! This is the second win a row for the class of 2022! They will hold onto the Golden Plunger for one more year as they fight to keep their title next Fall.
