CCSC Board of Trustees Approves New Teacher Hirings

CCSC Board of Trustees approved the hiring of 7 new teachers and the transfer of 2 at last night's regularly scheduled board meeting. New hires include, Alexus Stone who will teach High School Science, Betsey Gardner who will teach 5th Grade, Beth Dolezal who will teach Pre-K, Lauren Carver who will teach Elementary Music, Samantha Olds who will teach 5th Grade, Erin Houser who will teach 5th Grade and Emma Shireman who will teach 1st Grade. Paul Dunn will transfer from High School Science to Financial Literacy/DCT and Madelyn Fletcher will move to 2nd Grade. 

The board also approved the hire of Triston Rodriguez as the Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach, Mike Buschman as the Boys Varsity Soccer Coach and Collin Stevens as the Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach. Carla Pugh was also hired as the Guidance Secretary for the Middle/High School. 

Other items on the agenda included approval of the updated Wage and Benefits Information, Technology and Business Manager contract updates as well as the approval of the Nursing Contract with St. Joe Regional Medical Center. 

The CCSC Board of Trustees meet on the First and Third Mondays of the month at the Culver Community Schools Administration Building at 700 School Street, Culver.
