CULVER

The Community Police Department offically has a Chief of Police. Officer Ryleigh Carr was officially sworn in during the regulary scheduled school board meeting on May 20th. Officer Carr recently graduated the Police Academy and has been working as a School Resource Officer alongside Officer Bill Dulin at Culver Community Schools. At a previous board meeting the Culver Community School Board adopted a resolution officially establishing The Community Police Department. Culver Community is the 45th school in Indiana to establish their own police department. Both Officer Carr and Dulin are present daily on Culver Community campuses patrolling between buildings, inside the buildings and ensuring the safety of our students and staff while offering an extra resource and support to our staff when needed.

Congratulations, Officer Carr!
