Crisis today is now becoming a regular occurrence. Election 2024, anyone? Inflation affecting compensation demands? Culture and social justice movements? Layoffs? DEIB reorganizations? Or maybe just the 3rd reorg the product team wants to implement this year?
In today's uncertain world, HR professionals and cultural ambassadors play a critical role in guiding their organizations through crises. This workshop will equip you with the tools and approach needed to lead your team proactively during challenging times.

Jo McRell is the author of "Making Work Work for You" and an innovative employee experience strategist. She’s helped organizations like Google, Intuit, Meta and Gusto better empower their employees. Crisis is (unfortunately?) one of her key areas of expertise as she once oversaw an average of 40+ crises per quarter as the lead of a People Team strategic response crew...among other adventures.
Through her work and the AI ERA Community she co-founded, Jo equips employees and leaders with the tools to navigate disruptions in employee culture, tech, and work models so they can thrive in the future of work.

Location of Facilitator- PST (located in San Francisco Bay Area)
Speaker Availability - Monday through Friday from 8:30am, 11:30am or from 4pm PT. Let me know if another time is critical.

Publish and promote -
Once you've published your event in Bevy, create an email to send out to your chapter memebrs announcing your new event or just let the automated one go out. Reminder, you can't edit the automated one. You can only turn it off or edit the time it goes out.
Consider co-hosting - reach out to the other chapter leads in slack or on our LinkedIn group and ask if anyone would like to co-host with you all.
Create a graphic for your event to be shared out on social media.
Host event and collect feedback -
The chapter lead is required to send out the Feedback Form to community members in the post-event email.
The facilitator is to apply for reimbursement on their own. Use our Expense Process to make this quick and easy.
