‼️ Stay up to date with the September 2025 Chapters Brief!
This page is dedicated to two trainings we have offered to our chapter leads to help them level up as incredible facilitators, gatherers and hosts as well as a list of tools to help you plan and facilitate your virtual events.
Whether you've been here since the beginning or are just starting out. Learn how to breathe life into your chapter with fresh ideas, strategies, and collaborative conversations.
In this inaugural, Leads Learning Lab, join fellow Culture First Chapter Leads Jen Arnold and Austin Drabik for an interactive 60-minute virtual session designed to help you grow and enhance your chapter, no matter where you are in your chapter lead journey.
Whether you're just starting out or you're an experienced lead looking for fresh ideas, this structured, action-oriented conversation will provide practical strategies and inspiration.
Participants will:
- Hear how Jen grew the Vegas chapter from 1 attendee to over 90
- Learn how Austin increased the Columbus chapter's membership by 255%
- Discover what’s working, what isn’t, and leave with tangible tactics you can implement right away
This isn't a regular chapter leads check-in call. It's a focused learning experience to reduce friction for you and boost engagement for your chapter.
At most in-person events, attendees find connection in serendipitous moments, but in a virtual context, there is no opportunity for connection by accident. Whether you're in-person or online, it's critical that we design for connection on purpose. In this highly engaging session, you will learn the 3 Keys to Connection and how you can apply them in any format to transform strangers into community in a matter of minutes.
You will experience the connection principles in action during interactive exercises that will help you get to know fellow attendees in new and insightful ways.
By applying these principles, you will be able to strategically weave connection into the fabric of your events, programs and meetings, making every touchpoint an opportunity to build trust, rapport and psychological safety.
Jenny is passionate about designing transformational experiences that prioritize connection over content, and regularly consults for organizations like Google, Airbnb, Dropbox and the Haas School of Business. She is the founder and CEO of the Scaling Intimacy School of Experience Design, which trains event leaders to strategically weave connection into the fabric of their events.
She created Play On Purpose, a video tutorial library with over 80 of her best virtual and in-person team building games, to support facilitators to confidently engage and connect groups and teams. She is also the founder and director of The Culture Conference, an invite-only event for organizational leaders who are committed to shifting culture from the inside out. In her previous career as the co-founder of AcroYoga, she successfully scaled an international brand, community and organization with millions of practitioners.
She is a frequent presenter at international conferences and has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, Fast Company, and Inc., as well as Tim Ferriss’ book Tools of Titans.
This session was facilitated by Dr. Amy Climer, speaker, trainer, and coach in creativity, innovation, team development, and leadership. We'll be using Climer Cards, a simple tool that promotes team building and creativity. You'll also learn how to engage your community members and event attendees through the power of metaphors. You'll discover how metaphors and images can effortlessly convey feelings, experiences, and concepts, allowing for better understanding and connection among participants. Amy will guide you through practical exercises and activities using Climer Cards, demonstrating their versatility and adaptability for both virtual and in-person group settings.
By the end of the event, you'll have practical strategies you can apply in your next chapter lead event. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with your fellow global chapter leads and level up your facilitation skills!
