‼️ Stay up to date with the September 2025 Chapters Brief!
Slack helps people collaborate as easily online as they do in person. It’s designed to support the way people naturally work together, making collaborating with people online as easy and efficient as it is face-to-face.
We want all our community members to have a place to continue the conversation between meeting together. Slack is a tool we can use to achieve this. As a large number of organisations are using Slack, it seemed logical to create a place where you could connect that was familiar to most.
Each chapter has two core channels
#location-leads: This is the channel you can use to communicate with your other leads in your chapter and also with the Community Team at Culture Amp. It is a private channel so only those invited to it can see the content
#location-all: this is the channel you can use to communicate with the members of your chapter. It is a public channel so anyone within the Slack instance can join it.
Here's an example of how each chapter looks
You can send them the following link to join the Slack
https://join.slack.com/t/culturefirst-chapters/shared_invite/zt-cb8ie1s4-0Da6tAEWhwcij4pJDBJ8jw
Once they register, they will be able to join your chapter.
There are a few other channels you should become familiar with
This channel is where we can all communicate about things that are relevant to all chapter leaders. This is a private channel, if you can't get into it, please let one of the Culture Amp team know and we will add you in.
This is where you can get help in Slack using the Admin Portal. Feel free to share tips and tricks that you pick up along the way too!
This is a public channel that anyone can join. We've added a few question prompts to help you think of what to say. It's just a guide, feel free to bring your own spin! Any lead or chapter member can add themselves to this channel
This is a private channel for each region in which we operate (APAC, North America, Europe, Virtual).
Keep up to date with chapter events around the world in this public channel. Once you've created an event, come in here to share with the rest of the crew.
If you're new to Slack, there are a ton of help guides on their website. Useful things to consider
