‼️ Stay up to date with the September 2025 Chapters Brief!
Can you believe we are halfway through the freaking year?! I am so freaking proud of our chapters community and what we have accomplished together!
Here's what you need to know this month 👇
Community Progress This Year
I wanted to share some of the metrics from Bevy with you all to show what we've achieved as a collective! This is definitely worth being proud of!
This is the total number of people who have created an account and look at the number of people who have joined our community in 2024!
This is the number of people that have registered for an event this year - over 2,000! Look at the increase from H2 of 2022.
This may be a 'decrease' from this time last year, but in comparison to years past, it's incredibly remarkable!
This graph is showing that 53% of our chapters are on track and have hosted their mimum of 2 events for the year! Look at that increase!
👋 Welcome our Newest Chapter Leads
This month we onboarded some new chapter leads to existing chapter and two new cities! Please help me in welcoming them to our community! Woohoo!
Cherry Ward (Brisbane)
Reina Noguchi (Tokyo)
Casey Boyles (San Francisco)
Lynda Yang (Charlotte)
Hayley Smith (Christchurch)
Pip Lyons (re-onboarding with the Mental Health APAC chapter)
Chareen Raja (re-onboarding with the Perth chapter)
Thanks to those who were willing to mentor some of them to set them up for success! Appreciate you so much!
*We have an upcoming onboarding session on July 18th so reach out if you have a co-lead that needs to onboard!
🌍 North America Dream Big Sesh!
Some of our chapter leads from NAM are getting together with Culture Amp's Director of Brand in the coming weeks. Her goal is to nail down Culture Amp's biggest brand moments of 2025. Our community is wanting to go big to celebrate our 5 year anniversary as well as spread awareness. We are getting together to brainstorm ideas of doing this. If you want to join, send Jessie a DM and she'll add you to the invite.
Thursday, July 25th at 9am PT / 12pm ET
🤷♀️ 'Where Should We Begin?' A Virtual Version
Many of you have been hosting game nights with the physical version of the 'Where Should we Begin' Cards. Now there is a virtual version the community team has created for you all to use. Shoutout to DeMario for coming up with this genius idea!
If you want to use this for your virtual events, please make a copy of the deck.
🚨An Event Attendee is NOT a Chapter Member
Just because someone registers for your event, does NOT mean they have 'joined' the chapter or subscribed to your mailing list to be notified of future events.
They need to check this box (see image on right) to be added to the mailing list.
**Consider mentioning this at your events
Looking To Be More Involved in People Geek Slack?!
We are launching a new volunteer program for our digital community. The roles are designed to enhance community engagment and ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for our members. Apply for one of these roles by filling out the Google Form below before the end of the month to be considered.
🤝 Want to Connect with Your Fellow Chapter Leads?
We've created a page on the wiki so now you can identify who your fellow chapter leads are and connect with them on LinkedIn. You can obvioulsy find them on Bevy (chapters.culturefirst.com), but we also have a Google Sheet with all the up to date lead. Below is the link to the page.

Event Description:
Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking virtual gathering where we dive into the latest groundbreaking research from Culture Amp. Our Culture First Community is all about fostering connections and sharing ideas and best practices on our mission to creating a better world of work.
Culture Amp's recently released report, titled "2024 Workplace Culture Report" is a treasure trove of knowledge. We are living in a vastly different world than from the last report in 2022. Economic strain and sociopolitical backlash seem to have caused organizations to take a troubling step back from DEI initiatives. In this report, they explore the latest DEI trends to understand the impact of decreasing investment in DEI, how this impacts employee engagement, and what organizations can do to make meaningful improvements that drive business impact.
Think of this particular event as a virtual book club with a twist. Whether you've read the report cover to cover or are just curious to learn more, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share our mission of creating a better world of work.
During our event, you'll have the chance to:
Connect: Meet fellow enthusiasts who are passionate about creating a better world of work.
Share: Share your most significant takeaways from the report or simply listen to others' perspectives. It's a collective learning experience that can spark new ideas and insights.
Learn from Thought Leaders: We're thrilled to have some of our global Culture First Chapter Leads present their unique insights and perspectives on the report.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to be part of an interactive and enlightening discussion.
**Lastly, if you have ideas for speakers or content for the global chapter, please let Jessie know!
