‼️ Stay up to date with the September 2025 Chapters Brief!
Happy New Year, Chapter Leads!
Honestly, January feels like it’s been 8 weeks long and Christmas 3 months ago, but here we are! I think we all deserve a vacation or at least a nap!
Amid the strangeness of the world, we need each other now more than ever! I am feeling hopeful about this year and looking forward to continuing to create spaces for our community members to feel safe, connected and have a sense of belonging!

🎉 2024 Chapters Wrapped: What a Year!
"Not this wrapped being better than the actual Spotify wrapped 😭 🥰 🤩" - Stephanie Loredo, Houston Chapter Lead
Last year was a monumental year for our chapters community! Here’s a snapshot of what we accomplished together:
🎉 Hosted our 1,000th volunteer-led event (since 2019) in Boston.
🏆 Named CMX’s Best Growth Marketing Community of the Year 2024.
📈 5,900 new members joined this year, bringing us to 18,000+ members worldwide!
🌍 Connected and inspired our global community by hosting 314 events in 2024 alone.
✨ Over half of our chapters hosted 4+ events this year.
Shout out to all of you! We made this happen! See the full graphic posted in our Leads All LinkedIn Group.
☎️ New Comms Plan: Your Guide to Connection
We’ve created a communications plan to make staying connected and supported easier. It explains where to find updates and how to get help. The key updates:
Slack: Real-time updates in #leads-all.
Tip: tag you fellow leads you know or ask for help here.
Tip: Download the app on your phone and turn on notifications for just this channel.
Monthly Newsletter (aka this): Sent to your inbox and stored on the Wiki.
Bevy: Your hub for publishing events and accessing community sessions.
Need help? Use Slack for quick questions or Bevy’s Help Center for platform support.
**We heard on the chapter lead engagement survey that there's room to improve in the way we communicate. Having this clear plan is just the start. We still have more work to do.
⚡️ Transform 2025: Community Discount
The Culture First Community is excited to announce a partnership with Transform, the premier global event for people-driven leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors to influence strategy, ignite innovation, and transform the world of work. 🤝 Culture First Workshops: Less is More
We’re refining our workshops process and will now introduce new workshops twice a year (rather than quarterly). The next deadline to propose a workshop is May 30th with the application below. In the meantime, explore our existing workshops and consider booking them for your chapter.
💅 Bevy Refreshed: Watch the Recording and Explore the New Dashboard
The new Bevy dashboard is live! If you missed the recent training, catch up with the recording below to learn about updates and tips to streamline your event planning.
Right now when you login to the Bevy dashboard, you can switch to the new dashboard to try it out or continue using the legacy dashboard. However, come late March / early April, things will switch to the new dashboard.
**We heard on the chapter lead engagement survey that Bevy can be a challenge and we are hoping these updates can create a better user experience.

✍️ 5 predictions for HR and the world of work in 2025
Reflecting on 2024, it’s clear that the world of work is changing. Hybrid work models saw further evolution while generative AI brought levels of disruption that mimicked the tech boom of the 2010s.
It also seemed that not a week went by in 2024 where we didn’t hear about yet another company undergoing a mass layoff and similarly, DEI took repeated hits across industries and regions. Employee tensions have bubbled up as a result, evidenced by WorkTok trends like “act your wage,” which received increasing media attention.
At Culture Amp, we’ve tapped into our data lake of over 1.3 billion data points to make sense of it all and look ahead to 2025.

📣 Promote Other Chapter Events: We're Stronger Together
I want to give a special shoutout to Christy Tonge, SF chapter lead, who’s always fantastic at promoting other chapter events during their gatherings. It’s a great habit for all of us to adopt! Just because someone is part of one chapter doesn’t mean they shouldn’t join other events—especially topic-based ones like our new Global Trauma (Sarah Giencke + Natalia Bayurova), Mental Health and Neurodiversity at Work (Stephanie Loredo), and soon-to-launch Psychedelics at Work and Founders chapters. Make sure to check the calendar, and encourage your members to explore what’s happening across the entire chapters community!
