‼️ Stay up to date with the September 2025 Chapters Brief!
HR stands for Human Resources, but what do you all think about changing it to 'Horoscopes & Reiki?' Who's with me?!
Let’s be real—if April had a mood, it’d be “somehow still recovering from 2024 while forgetting is already Q2.”
Joking aside, I am so freaking proud of us and the work we are doing as a community! I hope you all are feeling the momentum and seeing the ripple effects!
Q1 Was 🔥
Here's a breakdown of some of the metrics:
📈 104 events in Q1 (36.8% YoY growth)
🌍 56 chapters hosted an event
⮐ 28.7% of members who attended an event have returned to 2+ events!!
To celebrate, I created these silly little graphics. I hope the Swifties out there can appreciate!
MASSIVE SHOUT OUT to those chapter leads who were a part of hosting a gathering this past quarter!

🎤 Esther Perel & the Power of Relational Intelligence
At the Culture Amp Leaders Forum earlier this month in NYC, Esther Perel joined Didier Elzinga (CEO) and Justin Angusway (CPO) for a fireside chat on leadership, vulnerability, and building relational trust. Here were my takeaways you all may enjoy:
Here are my takeaways:
🔥 Good leaders produce results, but great leaders produce people.
🔥”We bring our wholeselves to work every day whether we are conscious of it or not.”
🔥 A leader needs to be able to hold space for the team especially when all the answers aren’t evident as opposed to making up answers. Say you don’t know and that we’ll figure it out together.
🔥People want to be able to see how decisions are made. Without context, it’s hard not to take things personally because you’re not sure if you feel like you were in mind. People will be more likely to go along with the decision even if they don’t agree but they have context.
🔥 “Validate the human being while asking more of the human doing.”

🎥 The 3 Ps of Community Building
People. Purpose. Participation.
There are three keys that are major key to building a community.

📣 Promote Other Chapter Events: We're Stronger Together
I want to give a special shoutout to Christy Tonge, SF chapter lead, who’s always fantastic at promoting other chapter events during their gatherings. It’s a great habit for all of us to adopt! Just because someone is part of one chapter doesn’t mean they shouldn’t join other events—especially topic-based ones like our new Global Trauma (Sarah Giencke + Natalia Bayurova), Mental Health and Neurodiversity at Work (Stephanie Loredo), and soon-to-launch Psychedelics at Work and Founders chapters. Make sure to check the calendar, and encourage your members to explore what’s happening across the entire chapters community!
