CAIMAN KICKOFF - LINK CREW FRESHMAN ORIENTATION

Students meet in Caiman Hall: 8am-12pm
Parents meet in lunch quad: 8am - 9am
The Link Crew leaders (upperclassmen) have planned an incredible experience for our incoming freshmen! This will be time for our incoming 9th graders to meet each other, explore the campus, and to be inspired by our amazing Link Crew leaders!
Parents, we invite you to stay for the first hour of the event (8am - 9am) where Mr. Moen and other team members will welcome you to our campus and share some important information and tips as you start this high school journey with your student!
PARENT/STUDENT- “GEAR UP” DAY
Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Students will take their school photo and will receive their textbooks and school ID card. A link for online purchases will be sent to you prior to the event where you can purchase your ASB card, school swag, yearbook, Q1 Hot Lunch, etc.

Parent Volunteering Information
Parent Volunteer Hours
Each family is encouraged to donate 25 hours of time during the school year. We depend on parents and the partnership is critical to the success of our program. Please contact dfelix@classicalacademy.com for questions or for volunteer opportunities.
For every $10 spent parents receive 1 parent volunteer hour.
For the months of August and September PARENTS VOLUNTEER HOURS ARE DOUBLED!
Food Donations are also needed for the Back to School BBQ!
We anticipate 400 students, we are serving hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and desserts.
Please consider donating:
Frozen hamburgers - Costco is a great place!

Hamburger and hot dog buns
Individually bagged chips
Individually desserts - brownies, cookies, rice krispy treats, etc.
Gallon jugs of water
Costco and Smart and Final Gift Cards are welcome too!

School Meal Program
NEW FOR 2021-22: The Classical Academies is pleased to offer every student one free nutritious breakfast meal kit each day they are on campus. Our breakfast program is available to all students that are on campus longer than two hours for an educational purpose. Prepackaged Breakfast Kits are available at various times throughout the day to allow for flexible schedules.
The Breakfast Kits must be ordered online at https://classicalacademies.boonli.com by noon the day before your student is on campus. Instructions on how to order are available HERE.
When your student arrives on campus, they will be able to choose from the available prepackaged Breakfast Kits. Each Breakfast Kit includes a breakfast cereal, dried fruit, unsweetened regular or flavored applesauce, graham crackers, and low-fat milk. All Breakfast Kits include a spoon and napkin.
