Mr. Moen’s Video Update Sept 11

Mr Moen visited the water polo practice this week to record his weekly message. This team works so very hard in order to compete at a very high level in San Diego. CAHS ATTENDANCE AND TARDY POLICY

CAHS Attendance Policy
For all attendance communications/issues/excuses/: attendance@classicalacademy.com  OR (760) 520-6750 

Absences:

It is a privilege to attend the studio classes; therefore, attendance is to be punctual and consistent. It is understood that assignment completion shall be timely, of high quality, and due when stated. Consistent tardiness, absence or insufficient completion of assignments is cause to release the student from the studio program and place them in the full time Independent Study program at CAHS. If a student is absent all or any part of the Studio day, due to illness or tardiness, all work assigned will be completed. Students who are ill are expected to be kept home and to complete assignments. Regular attendance is expected for all studio days. Missing 5 days or more per quarter may jeopardize your option for the studio program and your place may be given to someone who is waiting for that position to become available.

Any student planning to be absent for more than 4 consecutive days of school must fill out an

extended absence request form (located in the front office).

Failure to report an absence will result in an Unexcused Absence which may result in a detention and/or negatively impact the student’s grade (students may not be allowed to make up assignments as a result of an unexcused absence).

Want to be a part of National Honor Society (NHS)? 

If you are a 10th, 11th or 12th grader with a 3.5 gpa or higher…

…you may be the perfect candidate to participate in the National Honors Society chapter at CAHS! It is a great opportunity for 10th-12th graders to get national recognition in their excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character. 

Some responsibilities as a member of the National Honor Society include attending chapter meetings, maintaining good standing in school, and participating in community leadership activities.

It also looks GREAT on college applications. In order to apply you must complete the entire application process and submit to nhs@classicalacademy.com. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 

All Applications, transcripts, and letters due via email or can be dropped at the front office by Tuesday September 19, 2023.

Senior Picture Information With Studio 94

Studio 94 Photography is the official yearbook and senior portrait photographer for Classical Academy High School. If your senior wants their photo in the yearbook it must go through Studio 94. There are free options available. 

CAHS and CAH are returning to Europe!
