PSAT - Tuesday, October 25th
The PSAT is a practice test for the SAT and can also lead to students receiving entry into the National Merit Scholarship Program. It is offered mainly for 11th graders, but also for 10th graders who are interested. Tuesday, October 25th will be a Home Day for all 9th and 12th graders and any 10th and 11th graders not signed up for the PSAT.
If your student signed up for the PSAT, please have them arrive at school at 8:00am on Tuesday, October 25th. They will be released around 12:00pm.
PSAT sign ups were offered at Gear Up Day and also through Cohort teachers. If your 10th or 11th grade student missed those sign up opportunities but decided they do want to take the PSAT, please sign them up by Friday, September 9th at the latest at this link: https://forms.gle/tTJwaJP26G8eEi6r5
If your student signed up for the PSAT previously with Mr. Warwick and has changed their mind and no longer wants to take the PSAT, please email Mr. Warwick (cwarwick@classicalacademy.com) letting him know - include their first name, last name, and grade level please. This helps us maintain an accurate order count and saves the school money by avoiding unused booklets.

We currently have openings for:
Campus Safety Associate, SAI Assistant, Substitute Teachers, and Counselor
Dress Code
The purpose of our dress code is to support an educational atmosphere where a high academic standard is the focus. Although we encourage individual expression, modesty and safety should be the guiding principles when selecting school attire. Students should wear clothes and shoes that fit properly and should always practice good hygiene. It is the parent and student's responsibility to keep these guiding principles in mind when selecting clothing. The student dress code applies to all students when on campus or at any CAHS sponsored activity.
School attire is to be MODEST and SAFE!
Modest Attire Defined: Undergarments will be covered at all times. The student's entire torso (including midriff, chest, cleavage, and buttocks) will be covered at all times by non see-through clothing. Shorts will have a functional inseam of at least 3 inches even after the hem of each leg is rolled up. Skirts and dresses will be no shorter than fingertip length when standing.
Safe Attire Defined: Safe and comfortable shoes or sandals are required at all times! Jewelry, piercings and accessories must be safe and not distracting to the learning environment. Pictures, symbols, words, and slogans must align with the Caiman values of Honor, Harmony and may not include any reference to any of the activities listed under Prohibited Behavior below.
Any clothing and accessories that could be perceived as costume wear or distractive attire are strictly prohibited, unless in relation to a school-sponsored or extracurricular activity provided the clothing complies with this Dress Code policy. This includes, but is not limited to collars, headbands depicting animal-like characteristics, tails, capes, or trench coats.
No code or policy can be all-inclusive. There may be school attire or accessories that are not addressed in this dress code, but will be addressed on an individual basis in an appropriate and professional manner.
Consequences
Students found out of compliance with the dress code may be asked to change or modify their clothes before returning to class or any other school sponsored activity. If the student does not have a change of clothes, they can have their parents bring them clothes or they can borrow clothes from the office.
