Raising awareness about the impacts of trash on the environment to construct positive systemic change while also getting our hands dirty to make a difference!
Normally: Saturday Bi-weekly(12:00 - 3:30pm)
Due to COVID-19 situation:
Short zoom meeting every week to discuss research project/activism/expectations of clean-ups
Small beach clean up with 2-4 people every two weeks
Our goal
We aim to have at least 1 beach cleanup every other week during non-COVID times and one meeting every week to discuss issues with trash management and pollution in Hong Kong once every week during COVID times.
Expectations
During COVID-19, we will be having weekly meetings on Tuesday 3:15-4:15 to discuss topics of climate change and plastic pollution. We will be partnering up with DITO:Footprint to create social media posts and continue to vamp up DITO's website. We will also arrange for small beach ups in groups 2-4 to pick up trash in a beach nearest to their home.
